Spinning Babies® Parent Class

Spinning Babies® Parent Class with Alayna Marchessault/The Passage

Learn the Spinning Babies approach for more comfort in pregnancy and ease in birth.

Spinning Babies is all about anatomy. How does the baby move through the pelvis? How does the pelvis move to accommodate a descending and rotating baby? How can you move to facilitate this process?

Spinning Babies techniques bring comfort to the body during pregnancy and empower partners to participate during labor to get that baby out. The Spinning Babies Parent Class is recommended for pregnant people between 27 and 35 weeks, but anyone is welcome throughout the 2nd and 3rd trimesters. This 3-hour class for pregnant people and their birth partners explores the physiology of the pelvis, surrounding muscles, and fascial systems. You will learn stretches, postural tips, and movement techniques that promote strength, flexibility, balance, and resilience as you gain an understanding of how your baby will move through the pelvis throughout labor.

Workshop will be held 8/20 from 9 AM - 12 PM at Rosemont Wellness Center.
