Autumnal Equinox Yin Yoga Workshop

The Autumnal Equinox represents the moment where light and dark are in balance. Through the lens of the natural world, it marks the tipping point towards a time of slowing down and turning inward. A time to begin to reserve vital energy and let go of the things that will no longer serve in the darker months ahead. Paradoxically, fall is also a moment of transition and shifting energy towards new schedules and routines. This fluctuation from one season to another can create feelings of being scattered, unbalanced and even grief.

Join Alex Argo for a grounding and mediative Yin Yoga practice to honor the fall season. We will align with the introspective energy of autumn through a slow-paced and reflective practice. This workshop will focus on gentle postures held in relative stillness, meditative observation and breath work intended to foster letting go and creating a sense of balance.

Sunday October 2nd from 5 to 6:30 pm at Rosemont Wellness Center
