A Nurturing Restorative Yoga & Nidra with Kalyani
We all lead busy lives. Our society is one of constant distractions and demands, resulting in our bodies living in a state of stress.
Our natural state is one of balance. It is so important to take time to "reset" the body from all the external stresses we face everyday.
One of the best ways to do this is through Restorative Yoga.
No experience is necessary. Only a willingness to let go, or surrender, to the moment. In Restorative Yoga, the participant will lay in different postures for about 10 minutes. Some of these postures are common yoga class postures. Giving the body more time to relax into the supported posture than a conventional class allows the body to release deep seated tension and the body becomes "restored".
The class will conclude with a short Nidra practice.
