In Person: Sitting With This Moment | A Yin Yoga Workshop
“Nothing ever goes away until it has taught us what we need to know" ~ Pema Chödrön
Autumn is a time for integration, deepening and slowing. However, for many of us, this present moment has challenged our abilities to feel settled and grounded. Join Alex Argo for a special Yin Yoga workshop. In this 90-minute class we will focus on deeper stretches held in longer periods of mindful stillness. This class will target the lung and large intestine meridians; the energy pathways associated with this season. By subtly stressing the joints and connective tissue, and staying present with the breath, we will mindfully approach our individual edge of sensation as a means to witness what is present, learn from it and let it go.
Join us on Friday October 22nd from 6 to 7:30pm at Rosemont Wellness Center
**This class will be held in person at the studio with a maximum of five students, to provide space for social distancing. Masks will be required for the full duration of the class, regardless of vaccination status.
